Editorial Policy
Last Updated: February 13, 2026
Our Mission
The Crypto Managers provides independent reporting, analysis, and opinion on cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, regulation, and financial innovation. Our goal is to deliver accurate, timely, and transparent coverage that empowers readers to make informed decisions.
Editorial Independence
The Crypto Managers maintains strict editorial independence.
- Our newsroom operates separately from advertising, sponsorship, and commercial partnerships.
- Advertisers and sponsors do not review, approve, or influence editorial content prior to publication.
- Sponsored content, if published, is clearly labeled.
- Editorial decisions are made solely by our editorial team.
Standards of Accuracy
Accuracy is our highest priority.
- All factual claims are verified against primary or reputable secondary sources.
- Market data is cross-checked with recognized financial data providers.
- Quotes are attributed and sourced.
- Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when necessary. At least one senior editor must independently verify the credibility of the source before publication.
- If information cannot be verified to our standards, it is not published.
Content Categories
We publish three primary types of content:
- News: Objective reporting of verified events and developments. News articles are based on confirmed information from primary sources.
- Analysis: Data-driven interpretation of markets, regulatory actions, or technological developments. Analysis is grounded in factual reporting and clearly supported by evidence.
- Opinion: Clearly labeled perspectives from contributors. Opinion pieces reflect the views of the author and do not represent the editorial position of The Crypto Managers unless explicitly stated. All opinion content is visibly marked.
Our Perspective Model
The Crypto Managers Perspective is our core editorial format. For each major development, we:
- Summarize key developments from primary and secondary sources
- Cite original reporting and primary sources so readers can verify independently
- Add structured editorial analysis — "The Crypto Managers Perspective" — explaining what the news means
- Clearly label opinion pieces to distinguish them from news analysis
This model ensures every article adds editorial value and is defensibly distinct from the original source material.
Corrections & Updates
We are committed to correcting errors transparently and promptly.
- Minor corrections (spelling, formatting) may be updated without notice.
- Material corrections are clearly noted at the top or bottom of the article with a timestamp.
- Substantive updates are labeled as "Updated" with explanation of changes.
Readers may request corrections by visiting our Corrections page.
Conflicts of Interest & Financial Disclosure
Because we cover financial markets, transparency is essential.
- Editorial staff must disclose significant cryptocurrency holdings or financial interests relevant to their coverage.
- Staff may not trade based on non-public information obtained through editorial work.
- Contributors must disclose potential conflicts of interest.
- Where relevant, disclosures may appear within articles.
Use of AI and Automation
AI tools may assist with research, drafting, summarization, or data processing. However:
- All AI-assisted content is reviewed by a human editor.
- All facts, figures, and claims are verified independently.
- AI tools do not replace editorial judgment or accountability.
- The Crypto Managers does not publish fully automated, unreviewed AI content.
Source Transparency
Whenever possible, we link to:
- Primary documents
- Regulatory filings
- Official statements
- Original research
We believe readers should be able to verify our reporting independently.
Advertising & Sponsored Content
- Sponsored content is clearly labeled.
- We do not accept compensation in exchange for favorable coverage.
- Product reviews, if any, are conducted independently.
- Affiliate relationships, if present, are disclosed.
Editorial Review Process
All content undergoes review prior to publication. Depending on article type, this may include:
- Fact-check review
- Editorial copy review
- Legal review (where appropriate)
- Headline review
High-impact regulatory or financial reporting may receive additional editorial oversight.
